A conversation with Dr. Matthew Tejada – Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights

The Environmental Protection Agency and the federal government is tasked with prioritizing environmental justice across the U.S. To accomplish this, the EPA recently created a new Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights (OEJECR) at the top level of the agency, putting the subject on the same level as water quality, air quality, etc.

Join us for a discussion with Dr. Matthew Tejada, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Environmental Justice at OEJECR to learn about the changes happening within the agency, goals and strategies for the new office, successes stories, and challenges they are working to overcome.
