Pete Tseronis (Dots and Bridges) moderates a conversation with Quantoinette Abney of DCSA and Stephanie Hefter and Tim Smith of OnPoint about the importance of public-private partnership and the significance of the award.
Ms. Quantoinette D. Abney is currently serving as an Industrial Security Representative assigned to the Alexandria 1 Field Office, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. Ms. Abney possesses more than 29 years of work experience as a Military member, Federal civilian, and contractor employee, serving the Department of Defense. Ms. Abney’s career includes serving as an Administrative Specialist, Human Resources Manager, and Noncommissioned Officer in the United States Army. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College. Ms. Abney is married to SGM (Retired) Stan Abney; a mother of three – A1C Tevin Allen, Ms. Tamera Allen, & Ms. Latrenda Eugene; and enjoys spending time with her two grandsons, Trenton and Keaton.
Stephanie enjoys her work managing OnPoint’s Industrial Security Program and ensuring compliance with a variety of NISPOM, FOCI mitigation, and contract regulation requirements. Through her leadership and management, OnPoint’s security program has become a recognized industry leader. In 2021, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency awarded OnPoint a James S. Cogswell Award! We are one of only 40 companies to achieve this honor for 2021. Prior to joining OnPoint, Stephanie worked in Human Resources and Program Administration roles at CACI, the University of Maryland College Park, and Towson University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration.
Tim has spent over 29 years largely supporting the federal government, providing leadership and management success to the contractor community. As President of OnPoint Consulting, Inc., Tim leads an organization that is leveraging technology to improve the way our national security programs work with a focus on cybersecurity, engineering and development, analysis, and digital transformation. Outside of work, Tim enjoys competing in triathlons and enjoying a quiet weekend at local vineyards with his wife.
